Proteins are the only vital nutrient; the human body does not know how to synthesise them, nor does it know where to put them or where to store them. So during the 8 hours or after a meal, they are always present in the circulating blood.
The
body can use them for 8 hours. After 8 hours, it has no choice but to take them
from wherever it can find them. Up to the age of 45-50, it will look for them
mainly in the muscles. After the age of 50, the phenomenon known as sarcopenia
begins, which is a slow and gradual loss of muscle. At this point, your body
not only relies on the muscles but also on the skin. It will cause the skin to
lose its elasticity and thickness, which will accelerate the ageing process.
So proteins build growth in children and adolescents, then serve throughout life to maintain all your body's functions, without which life comes to a halt, and very quickly at that.
So
the body you lived in last year has disappeared. With the exception of the
brain, it has been completely renewed, brick by brick, organ by organ.Your
heart is a new heart, your red and white blood cells, all your hormones, your
kidneys, your liver, everything is being reborn periodically and this is
essentially done with proteins. Now that you know this, try not to go without
protein for more than 8 hours. If it's not too frequent, it's not too serious.
But if you're one of those people who refuse
to eat animal proteins, which are the only complete proteins, or if you're one
of those people who only eat proteins once a day, you'll lose your muscles,
your skin will wither and you'll age faster than others. The best sources of
protein are still lean meat, oily fish if possible for the omega-3s, and egg
white, which is the best protein in the world, the benchmark protein.Protein
from milk and dairy products, from soya and from a clever combination invented
by vegans, from cereals and legumes, which means we have to accept so many
carbohydrates as well.
