Fleshy, with a pointed oblong shape and a brilliant green colour, mango leaves are rich in antioxidants, flavonoids, phenols, vitamins C, B and A and trace elements. These leaves have powerful and useful properties, such as taraxerol-3 beta, for keeping organs healthy. Jean-Louis Pousset, a researcher who has written about medicinal plants in Africa, published in his memoirs, among other things, the anti-diarrhoeal action of mango leaf extract.
