Prof Tchin Darré : «I find this collaboration natural. I read Sante-Éducation and it's quality work that's being done».

On Tuesday 15 October 2024, Sante-Éducation met with Prof. Tchin Darré, Minister of Health and Public Hygiene. During the meeting, the Director General of Sante-Éducation, Basile Mignaké, congratulated the Minister on his appointment and his commitment to health in Togo. Discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration between Sante-Éducation and the Ministry in promoting public health. «I find this collaboration natural. I read Sante-Éducation and it's quality work that's being done», insisted Pr Tchin Darré.

Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Professor Darré is a respected figure in the academic world. The author of around a hundred scientific publications, he also brings to the government recognised expertise and a clear vision for the health sector. His appointment is also a strong signal of the political will to speed up reforms and improve access to healthcare for all. «Together, we aim to strengthen access to reliable, quality information and raise awareness of essential health issues. We remain committed to working for a healthier Togo», said the Minister for Health.
