We sleep pretty well, we eat pretty well, but we're still tired all the time. Where's the energy ? It's not always a major health problem. Sometimes it's simple, invisible but powerful causes that drain the battery day after day. Here are 4 discreet but common reasons why we feel exhausted, even without doing anything.
Many Togolese complain of
persistent fatigue throughout the year. Although fatigue affects women more
often than men, its causes are many and varied. Most of the time, this ailment
is relatively trivial, but never normal... Sometimes, it acts as a real alarm
signal for the body and deserves our attention.
Dehydration
Without
water, the body slows down. And the brain hates lack of hydration. The result
is difficulty concentrating, sudden fatigue and migraines.
It's
therefore advisable to drink 1 to 2 liters of water a day, spread throughout
the day. Water is nature's fuel.
Iron
deficiency
Iron
deficiency can go unnoticed until you're feeling short of breath, weak or even
depressed all the time. This mineral plays a key role in cell oxygenation.
Without it, the body becomes exhausted, even at rest.
A
simple blood test can detect a deficiency. When in doubt, consult a physician.
Adapt your diet or supplements.
Constant
stress
Stress
is not just a mental state. It draws on the body's physical resources, wearing
out nerves, hormones and the heart. Over the long term, it's more exhausting
than a marathon.
You
learn to slow down. You need breaks in the day, conscious breathing, relaxing
activities. Sometimes, it's by doing less that you recover more.
Not
moving enough
The
more tired you are, the less you move, and the more tired you get. The human
body needs movement to produce energy. Constant immobility extinguishes this
flame.
Walking,
dancing, stretching, cycling - 20 to 30 minutes of movement a day is enough to
revitalize the metabolism.
