On Monday, November 24, the Ministry of Health will launch a national vaccination campaign against measles and rubella. The campaign, scheduled to last seven days across the country, will be combined with the administration of vitamin A and deworming with albendazole.Specifically, during the campaign, children aged 6 months to 5 years will receive vitamin A, while those aged 12 months to 5 years will be dewormed with albendazole.

Children aged 9 months to 5 years will be vaccinated against measles and rubella, and those aged 0 to 5 years, as well as 9-year-old girls who are unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated, will receive catch-up vaccinations.This new campaign aims to strengthen the protection of children against vaccine-preventable diseases. It is part of the government's commitment to improving child health and reducing mortality from infectious diseases.Catch-up and follow-up vaccination campaigns are regularly organized to maintain high vaccination coverage and prevent the resurgence of these diseases in children.
