Walking is a
healthy activity, and American researchers at the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill have shown that walking more is also beneficial to longevity in
any style. Walking for a long time at a time is as good as taking a few steps
several times a day. Walking is a great
option after 60. Just park a little further away in the supermarket car park or
take the stairs instead of the lift to take more steps.
