Computers, smartphones and other screens are omnipresent in the daily lives of Togolese people. These gadgets provide invaluable services, but when used to excess, they undermine users' well-being. Some people are so addicted that they can't even go to bed without checking their mini-screens one last time. This leads to sleepless nights and difficulty in falling soundly asleep.

A study by researchers at the University of Houston has just confirmed that the blue light emitted by these electronic devices may be responsible for the insomnia that is becoming increasingly common among the population.  If you want to get a good night's sleep, it's best not to consult your electronic device six hours before bedtime.
