You sleep fairly well, eat a reasonably balanced diet, but still feel constantly tired. Where has all your energy gone? It's not always a serious health problem. Sometimes there are simple, invisible but powerful causes that drain your batteries day after day. Here are 4 subtle but common reasons why you feel exhausted, even when you're not doing anything.

Dehydration

Without water, the body slows down. The brain hates dehydration. This leads to difficulty concentrating, sudden fatigue, and migraines.

It is therefore advisable to drink 1 to 2 liters of water per day, spread throughout the day. Water is natural fuel.

Iron deficiency

Iron deficiency can go unnoticed until you start feeling constantly short of breath, weak, or even depressed. This mineral plays a key role in oxygenating cells. Without it, the body becomes exhausted, even at rest.

A simple blood test can detect a deficiency. If in doubt, consult your doctor. Adjust your diet or take supplements.

Constant stress

Stress is not just a mental state. It drains the body's physical resources and wears down the nerves, hormones, and heart. In the long term, it is more exhausting than a marathon.

Learn to slow down. Take breaks during the day, breathe consciously, and engage in relaxing activities. Sometimes, doing less means recovering more.

Not moving enough

The more tired we are, the less we move, and the more tired we become. The human body needs movement to produce energy. Constant immobility extinguishes this flame.

Walking, dancing, stretching, cycling—20 to 30 minutes of movement per day is enough to boost your metabolism.
