After
three years of requisition for the treatment of patients tested positive to
covid-19, the CHR Lomé-Commune reopens its doors to all users from Tuesday May
2. The information was given through a press release issued by the Minister of
Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Access to Health Care, Pr Moustafa
Mijiyawa on 28 April 2023.
Located
in Kégué not far from the stadium which bears the name of the district, the CHR
Lomé-Commune is getting ready to welcome users suffering from all diseases. The
reorganisation of the services of the said centre concerns, in the first
instance, the resumption of ordinary care activities in the following services:
general medicine, paediatrics, infectious diseases, cardiology, rheumatology,
ophthalmology, stomatology, otorhinolaryngology, laboratory, radiology and
pharmacy.
The next stage will be devoted to the development of other services, particularly surgery. In fact, the Minister of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Access to Health Care invites the entire population of Greater Lomé and its surroundings to go there if necessary to benefit from the health care services of this renovated centre. As a reminder, in view of the rise in positive cases linked to Covid-19, the President of the Republic Faure Gnassingbé has requisitioned the CHR Lomé-Commune for the care and treatment of coronavirus patients.
